On May 15, the annual Brandcast event dedicated to YouTube took place. This year, two new advertising updates were announced.

YouTube introduced a new AI-powered advertising format of non-skippable ads for Video Reach campaigns, specifically optimized for Connected TV. This innovative format utilizes non-skippable assets across in-stream inventory, ensuring that advertisements are fully viewed by the audience.

YouTube has introduced branded QR codes, a new feature designed to enhance interactivity for advertisers. It allows brands to create customized QR codes that prominently feature their branding, making the codes more engaging and visually appealing. By integrating these modern QR codes into their advertising campaigns, companies can drive higher levels of audience engagement and interaction.
