YouTube has received brand safety accreditation from the Media Rating Council (MRC) for the sixth consecutive year, expanding this to include YouTube Shorts for the first time. This makes YouTube the first platform to achieve MRC brand safety accreditation for short-form video content.

This certification covers three inventory suitability tiers: Maximum, Moderate, and Limited Mode, allowing advertisers to manage their preferences for both long-form videos and Shorts.
The MRC’s accreditation validates YouTube’s efforts to ensure brand safety, assuring advertisers that campaigns run near appropriate content.
