Google mentioned its effort to make YouTube more shoppable during Google Marketing Live 2025, and now it’s experimenting with a new product ad format in YouTube Shorts called Dia Show. This format displays four products pulled from your Google Merchant Center, giving viewers a compact carousel experience right within the Shorts feed.
When user taps on a product, they’re taken directly to the product page on the merchant’s website, helping to drive fast, low-friction conversions.
Dia Show ad format runs through Demand Gen campaigns, making it a compelling option for retail brands to boost visibility on YouTube using existing product data without the need to produce video content.
