Google is expanding its vision of Search as an active assistant with a new agentic shopping feature.
Users can now set a desired price for a product. Once the price drops to that level, Google’s AI agent can automatically complete the purchase on their behalf selecting the correct size and color. This features is called “Buy for me“.

This hands-free experience marks a shift from passive searching to proactive assistance.
The update builds on other AI-powered shopping features like the recently enhanced “Try it on” experience, announced during Google I/O. Users can upload a photo of themselves to see how clothes would look on their own body, directly in Search. This is available in the Search Labs in the U.S.
Agentic capabilities are coming both to Google Ads and Google Analytics.
