Google Ads has introduced Campaign diagnostics within its Overview section, a new reporting section that identifies issues across ads, audiences, accounts, budgets & bidding, and goals.

It’s visible on campaign level for Search and Performance Max campaigns.

Similar to Conversion diagnostics, it flags problems like limited budget, limited audience reach, poor ad strength, or suboptimal bidding strategies.

This section was previously called Diagnostics insights and looked like this:

Clicking “View all diagnostics” opens a Campaign Diagnostics Tab with detailed additional insights and fixes.

The screenshots were provided by Hana Kobzová, but Thomas Eccel was the first who spotted this update. In his case, the section is called Performance diagnostics instead of Campaign diagnostics.
