Thomas Eccel has highlighted that Google Ads has updated its Performance Max video enhancements by adding previews of vertical and shorter video formats.
It was first spotted in April, but now it seems Google has switched the tabs.
Horizontal videos are now auto-converted to vertical and square, with key elements preserved.
Shortened versions of the videos also keep crucial moments intact. Advertisers should review these automated adjustments, especially if they need specific customizations.
This feature has been recently added to Demand Gen campaigns as well.
