Thomas Eccel noted that Google’s Performance Planner, a tool designed for forecasting and assessing campaign changes on key metrics, is now expanded to support all campaign types, including Pmax and Discovery/Demand Gen.
For Pmax campaigns to utilize the planner, they should:
- Be active or paused for no more than 7 days.
- Not have altered their bid strategy in the past week.
For Demand Gen campaigns, the requirements are:
- Every ad group must have garnered at least one impression daily over the previous week.
- Campaigns need to be active (not drafts or experiments) or paused for under a week.
- The bid strategy shouldn’t have been modified in the past 7 days.
