Thanks to Kirk Williams, we’ve learned that the announced ad rank update for Standard Shopping and Performance Max campaigns has now been rolled out globally to all accounts.
Advertisers running both Standard Shopping and PMax within the same account should monitor their campaigns closely, as ad rank will now determine which campaign serves for overlapping products.
This change provides more control to advertisers and impacts how both campaign types interact in Google Ads.
