Consolidated Masthead Requirements for YouTube & CTV

Google Ads will launch a new “Masthead format requirements” page on October 3, consolidating guidelines for masthead ads across YouTube and Google TV.

This new resource will provide advertisers with a streamlined reference point, ensuring compliance with ad specifications on both networks.

While YouTube masthead ad requirements remain unchanged, centralizing these guidelines simplifies the process for advertisers.

Non-compliant ads won’t be eligible to serve.

The new requirements will take effect on October 3, but advertisers can already access them before the official launch.

Advertisers should review the Masthead format requirements before the October 3 launch to avoid disruptions in campaign performance.
