Google Ads Launches Nano Banana Pro for Smarter Creative Generation

Google Ads is rolling out Nano Banana Pro, a new AI-powered image generation model designed to improve creative production in Performance Max and Demand Gen campaigns.

The model provides better brand alignment by understanding prompts, brand guidelines, and reference images more accurately. Advertisers gain detailed creative control over lighting, camera angles, background removal, and color grading. Nano Banana Pro can also generate high-resolution 1024×1024 images and feature up to five products in one scene, making it useful for showcasing bundles or cross-sells.

A new conversational editing workflow allows quick iterations. Advertisers can ask for specific changes to existing assets without rewriting the entire prompt.

The feature is starting to roll out globally within Asset Studio and other campaign build flows.
