Google has confirmed a rare reporting bug in Google Ads that led to over-reported CTRs, in some cases showing CTR over 100%.
Brad Geddes spotted the issue, sharing a case with 3,000+ impressions and a 107% CTR, and even 1000% for a search term. Google Ads Liaison Ginny Marvin responded, explaining that invalid clicks were processed after their impressions, causing inflated click-through rates.

While Google says this is uncommon, it’s not fully resolved yet, and efforts are ongoing to prevent future instances.
