Google Ads Clarifies AI Max For Search Campaigns Reporting

Google has updated its help document on reporting for AI Max for Search campaigns, introducing several significant revisions. 

Key changes include the automatic upgrade of Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) to AI Max starting February 2027, updated performance report formats, and details on Search Campaigns for Travel metrics.

Among the new features, advertisers will find enhanced options for viewing campaign performance through different lenses, including search terms and landing page reports. 

Additionally, there’s new guidance on using negative keywords effectively to balance campaign goals. Regular reviews of performance metrics are also emphasized in the updated best practices section to optimize outcomes for various campaign strategies.
