Google Clarified API Key Process for Local Inventory Auto Feeds

Emmanuel Flossie shared an update that for months, merchants using website-reported local inventory feeds via Google Tag Manager faced a significant obstacle: obtaining the required API key.

Now it’s has been clarified where to obtains this API key:

  • Complete setup → Request validation through a simple form.
  • Once approved, a Google agent provides your API key.

This update makes it easier for merchant to streamline local inventory implementation and ensure compliance with Google’s feed policies.
