Video Action Campaign campaigns (VAC) will soon be automatically upgraded to Demand Gen, as announced in September 2024.
Google has launched a migration tool to help you migrate while preserving campaign history and learnings.
Plus, you now get channel-level control, run ads only on YouTube, or even restrict them to specific YouTube channels.
Action Steps:
- Select your VAC campaign
- Click Edit → Copy → Edit → Paste
- Choose “Migrate to Demand Gen.”
- Select your inventory: YouTube-only or All Google channels
- Click Paste, done!
If you don’t migrate your VAC campaigns manually, Google will do it for you by July.
