Crypto Ad Rules Update for Switzerland

Starting September 20, 2024, Google will update its policy on cryptocurrencies and related products, allowing advertisers targeting Switzerland to promote cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets. 

Advertisers must be licensed by Switzerland’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and meet all local legal requirements. 

This policy also covers hardware wallets, provided they do not offer additional services like trading.

Advertisers must be Google-certified, and violations will result in warnings before any account suspension.
