Google Ads has introduced a “Minimum budget” requirement for the first time during campaign setup, marking a significant shift in its approach to campaign management.

This was observed by Thomas Eccel in a Demand Gen campaign utilizing a Maximize Clicks bidding strategy.

This move appears to encourage new campaign creators to increase their initial investment, although it’s worth noting that the daily budget can be adjusted to below $4 after the initial setup.
