Certain Placements Will Become Non-Excludable in Microsoft Advertising’s PMAX

Two people sit side by side at a table, smiling and working on a laptop. The woman wears a black shirt and colorful necklace, while the man sports a striped shirt and glasses. They appear to be in a well-lit indoor space, possibly discussing placements on Microsoft Advertising.

Starting March 1, 2024, the ability to exclude the following placements from Performance Max campaigns in Microsoft Advertising will be removed:

  • msn.com
  • outlook.com
  • outlook.live.com
  • microsoftcasualgames.com
  • windows.msn.com
  • ntp.msn.com
  • zone.msn.com
  • superapp.msn.com
  • bing.com

Advertisers who previously opted out of these sites should anticipate an increase in impressions and clicks from the specified date. However, these placements can still be excluded in other types of campaigns.
