In August 2026, Google will update the Political Content policy for New Zealand to include details about supported language requirements for Google Ads and DV360.
Election ads and ads from official government bodies will now be allowed in supported languages, provided they contain Māori words or phrases that are contextually relevant and comply with other policies.
