Starting December 10, 2025, Google Ads will update its Destination Requirements policy to strengthen enforcement against fraudulent or non-compliant phone numbers. Specifically, the “Unacceptable phone number” section will now prohibit the use of numbers linked to fraudulent activity or past policy violations.
This policy change will be rolled out gradually and fully enforced within approximately 8 weeks. Ads or assets using such numbers will be disapproved under this updated rule.
