Google Ads Enhances Lookalike Targeting With New Options

A table titled "Seed List Options & Requirements" explains that up to 10 seed lists per Lookalike Targeting segment are allowed, with at least 100 matched users required. It lists seed list types, including creator data and Cross-Platform Data segments.

Georgi Zayakov shared that Google Ads has expanded Lookalike Segment capabilities:

  1. New Seed Sources
    You can now create a lookalike using
    • Android device IDs
    • Google Analytics audiences
    • YouTube users (requires 1,000 matches vs. 100 for others)
  2. Audience Segments Based on Creator’s video
    Use the audience of a creator’s video (not your own) as a seed, great for influencer-led strategies.
  • Up to 10 seed lists can be combined per segment
  • Choose from narrow, balanced, or broad settings depending on your reach vs. relevance goals
