Starting June 2025, Google Ads will update its Healthcare and Medicines policy to allow the promotion of melatonin products outside the U.S. and Canada, where it was previously restricted.
Advertisers will still be required to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.
Policy violations won’t result in instant account suspensions. Google will issue a 7-day warning before taking any enforcement action.
This opens new international advertising opportunities for melatonin brands and retailers.
