Starting February 12, 2025, Google will update its policy on cryptocurrency-related ads, allowing certified advertisers to promote cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets in South Africa. Advertisers must register with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and meet all local legal requirements.

Hardware wallet ads, which do not offer additional services like trading, will also be allowed under similar conditions. Advertisers must comply with local laws and obtain Google certification.
