Local Search Ads Without Descriptions

Google search results display two sets of lawyer advertisements: the first features detailed descriptions of services, while the second, in a local search ads style, includes only headlines. Arrows emphasize the difference between these approaches.

Anthony Higman spotted local ads in Google Search appearing without any ad descriptions.

In the screenshot he shared, these ads are shown in the third and fourth positions.

Google search results display two sets of lawyer advertisements: the first features detailed descriptions of services, while the second, in a local search ads style, includes only headlines. Arrows emphasize the difference between these approaches.

They include: business logo, business name, visible URL, headlines, and additional details sourced from the Google Business Profile, such as the business category, address, and opening hours.

However, there are no ad descriptions or ad extensions included.

Interestingly, the first ad result is also a local ad, but it does include a description.
