Auto-Generated Headlines for Local Search Ads

A screenshot of a Google search result for "AD SQUIRE - Philadelphia," an advertising agency with a 5-star rating. Details include the address, phone number, business hours, and website links. A red arrow points to the search result featuring local search ads and a small map with two location images.

Google is modifying ad copy for local search ads by automatically adding business locations to the headline.

This change, linked to Google Business Profile’s automated location assets, can insert locations into ads without being manually added in the ad.

This news was brought to attention by Anthony Higman, who in July had also shared a screenshot of local search ads pointing out different features, but this one was visible too, though it went unnoticed at the time.
