Starting June 10, 2024, Google Ads will update its policy regarding the sale of event tickets. The update focuses on how disclosures about the event should be presented on websites reached through ads.
When users click on a Google ad selling tickets, important details about the event must be visible at the top of the page without needing to scroll. These details can’t be hidden behind pop-ups and must be easy to read. This requirement only applies to pages reached through ads, not organic searches.
The update will roll out gradually over about four weeks.
