Mobile Shopping Gets a New Filter Experience

Two screenshots of Google search results for "adidas running shoes" highlight the mobile shopping experience. The left displays text links and image filters, while the right showcases sponsored product ads with shoe images and prices. The Google logo and search bar remain visible at the top of both screenshots.

Google is experimenting with a new shopping filter layout in mobile search results. Instead of a single filter menu, users now see a product image carousel first, followed by additional filter options.

This update, spotted by Sachin Patel, could enhance the shopping experience by making product browsing more visually and engaging. A small tweak signals Google’s continued efforts to refine mobile shopping.

Here’s a screenshot with the new version on the left and the old version on the right.
