Google Ads has improved ad transparency to provide users with detailed information about ads generated with artificial intelligence.
The panel features a section titled “How this ad was made,” which discloses when an ad was created or edited with AI, allowing users to understand the origin and nature of the content they see.

The feature is available through My Ad Center using the three-dot menu on ads across Search, YouTube, and Discover.
Google emphasizes that ads built using its own tools will automatically include AI disclosures, while advertisers creating assets externally will need to self-declare the use of the AI label.
Specific markets, including the EU, India, and New York, currently require visible AI labels directly on ads.
