Google has added a prominent recommendation to its official help page for the image link attribute for Google Merchant Center product feeds.
The updated guidance now states that, to ensure best performance across all listing formats, advertisers should provide images near or above 1500 x 1500 pixels. This applies to images used in ads and free listings, making image quality even more critical for visibility and engagement.
![A webpage section titled "Image link [image_link]" explains using the image_link attribute for product images, includes a pink Important note about image size, and a list of four article links below.](https://ppcnewsfeed.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-fastest-cache-premium/pro/images/blank.gif)
The notice appears at the very top of the Image link help page, highlighted with a red background to draw strong attention to the recommendation.
Advertisers should review their product feeds and consider upgrading smaller creatives.
