Google is rolling out a new format for Demand Gen ads on Gmail. These ads now display selected products (remarketing) directly in the email preview in the Promotions tab and inside the email body, making them more visual and retail-focused.
One of the featured products is also used as the message icon, helping the ad stand out in the inbox even before it’s opened.

This is a very powerful update for e-commerce advertisers running Demand Gen campaigns.
