Google Shopping Now Shows Category-Wise Search Volume Data

Google has published a new help page article dedicated to Search volume. This report helps advertisers track demand for product categories.

This metric shows the relative share of searches within the categories you sell, based on your delivery countries or campaign locations.

Search volume data is available for periods starting from 21 February 2023 and can go back up to two years. Search interest data is currently limited to specific supported countries: Australia, Brazil, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States.

If Search volume report is available to you, you can access it under the Products tab in the Google Ads online interface.
