Dario Zannoni highlighted that Google Ads is rolling out two new features in the Products tab: Search Interest and Product Category Insights, providing advertisers with valuable performance insights.
- Search Interest: Displays the popularity of product categories on a scale of 0–100 within a specified period. Accessible by clicking on a product category, this tool helps advertisers identify trends. (Currently limited to select countries.)
- Product Category Insights: Automatically highlights key performance trends, including:
- Search interest up and performance down
- Search interest up
- Performance down
These insights aim to help advertisers diagnose changes in performance and optimize campaigns more effectively.
