In November 2024, Google will enforce stricter penalties under its updated third-party policy. The changes are aimed at reducing significant or repeated policy violations within the Google Ads ecosystem.

Third parties showing disregard for Google Ads policies could face removal from programs like Google Partners, account suspensions, or even permanent bans from advertising.

Agencies are also recognized as third parties, and any agency that fails to comply with Google Ads policies could face consequences such as losing privileges, removal from third-party programs like Google Partners, or account suspension. For example, this can occur if an agency demonstrates a disregard for compliance with Google Ads policies.

These changes highlight Google’s commitment to maintaining a compliant ad environment.

Policy breaches will be met with immediate action, potentially including the suspension of Google Ads accounts without prior warning.
