Google has announced a new feature allowing advertisers to serve digital coupons for Performance Max campaigns on Google Maps. This responds to a survey showing that 45% of shoppers find deals and promotions most helpful when deciding what to buy.
Requirements for the coupon to show up on Google Maps:
- The campaign has to use offline visit store goals.
- A promotion extension needs to be added to the campaign with the in-store redeemable coupon information. New required fields will be added to the interface soon.
Google’s integration of digital coupons with Maps aims to enhance the shopping experience and drive more in-store traffic for retailers.
