Starting October 21, 2026, Google will update its Financial Products and Services policy to include regulatory changes and clarify licensing requirements for cryptocurrency-related advertisements targeting the United Arab Emirates.
Advertisers offering Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Software Wallets must be licensed by authorities like the Capital Market Authority (CMA), Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), or Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). They are also required to comply with local laws and achieve certification from Google.

For those promoting Complex Speculative Financial Products, licenses from equivalent authorities are mandatory. Google will issue a warning at least 7 days prior to any account suspension for policy violations.
