Google has updated its Lead Form assets documentation, removing the $50,000 advertising spend requirement. This change potentially opens up Google-hosted lead generation to a broader base of advertisers, particularly smaller businesses.
Previously, advertisers needed to either spend over $50,000 or qualify as a reputable advertiser to use certain Lead Form formats. Now, the only eligibility requirement focuses on advertiser reputation and verification.

Additionally, Google streamlined which campaign types can utilize Lead Form assets, now only supporting Search and Performance Max.
Other updates include expanded lead delivery options such as email notifications and Zapier integration, as well as improved lead data retention details, stating that CSV downloads are available for 30 days and lead data is stored for 60 days.
The change in documentation highlights higher-quality leads and easier implementation, alongside expanding eligibility to several new countries, including Bahrain, Jordan, and Tunisia.
