Microsoft Advertising has introduced new capabilities for ecommerce advertisers using Merchant Center. Users can now update their store name and domain directly within Merchant Center, streamlining management for those needing to make branding or URL adjustments.

Editorial review is required when changing a store name, but ads continue running with the current approved name during the review period.

If the store domain changes, domain ownership verification is needed before the new domain can go live. During verification, ads still serve on the original domain. Advertisers should ensure that product URLs match the updated domain once it’s approved.

Store names and domains can be reused if they pass editorial checks and domain verification, offering flexibility for merchants handling rebrands or migrations.
