Performance Max Bug Prevents Asset Group Editing

A website interface displays a message: “An error occurred. Please try again later. Value is required.” above options for asset group editing and details about an ad, possibly due to a Performance Max bug.

A new bug in Google Ads is preventing some users from editing and saving existing Performance Max asset groups. Affected advertisers are seeing error messages when attempting to make changes in the platform interface.

A website interface displays a message: “An error occurred. Please try again later. Value is required.” above options for asset group editing and details about an ad, possibly due to a Performance Max bug.

Google is aware of the issue and is currently investigating, but there is no official fix or timeline for resolution yet. In the meantime, a temporary workaround is to use Google Ads Editor to make and upload changes to asset groups.

Advertisers managing PMAX campaigns should double-check recent edits to ensure they’ve been properly saved.
