Google has launched Google Ads API Developer Assistant v2.0, a significant upgrade that turns the tool into a proactive automation and troubleshooting solution for API developers.
This release brings major enhancements following feedback from version 1.6.0, addressing common pain points around setup, code management, and conversion diagnostics.

Key improvements include a streamlined one-command setup with unified dependency management, and all outputs now organized in a dedicated directory structure. A new diagnostics report tool automates offline conversion troubleshooting, making it much easier to resolve attribution issues, especially valuable for complex API integrations.
Version 2.0 now fully supports Google Ads API v23 and features session management hooks, smarter configuration handling, and secure credential cleanup. It also improves GAQL query building with new validation rules. The update pushes automation further, minimizing manual error correction and saving hours for developers.
