Google Ads has launched a new “Generated” tab in the Asset Explorer, allowing advertisers to create images using the latest Nano Banana model while building ads.

This tab lets users generate AI-powered visuals on the fly, with the option to regenerate results until satisfied before applying them to campaigns. It uses the latest Nano Banana model, optimized to produce ad-relevant, high-quality images quickly and efficiently.

Under “More options,” users can also specify the desired aspect ratio before generating an image.

Google also generates image suggestions automatically, which remain available for 14 days unless saved or added to a campaign.

Also, while creating an ad, a shortcut link takes users directly to the “Generated” tab for faster access.

This update streamlines the creative process for Performance Max and other visual formats by keeping asset creation directly within the ad workflow.
