Google has expanded the availability of ads within AI Overviews to 11 new countries beyond the U.S.
These placements are now active in English on both mobile and desktop for users in Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, and Singapore. Previously, these ads were only available in the United States.

Currently, eligible ad formats include Text and Shopping ads from existing Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns. Ads may appear within the AI-generated overview or above/below it, depending on keyword match type and relevance.
