Ads Advisor Now Citing External PPC Sources

Ads Advisor has started referencing third-party content in its recommendations. While reviewing a suggestion, Govind Singh spotted the tool citing an article written by Jyll Saskin Gales on her website jyll.ca as its source, identifying her as an external PPC expert influencing the recommendation.

This marks a notable shift in how Google’s AI-driven assistant operates. Until now, Ads Advisor typically relied solely on Google’s internal documentation. The use of industry articles shows that the tool is now pulling insights from the broader PPC ecosystem.

It’s an early sign that expert content may directly shape AI-generated guidance within the platform. A significant development for both advertisers and thought leaders.

Super interesting development, especially since the tool normally sticks to Google’s own docs.
