Google Ads is now displaying a notification bar prompting advertisers to confirm whether they intend to run political ads, as part of broader updates tied to EU regulations.

This notification complements a recently added bulk action on campaign level or within Advertiser verification section.

These changes align with the upcoming EU Transparency and Targeting of Political Advertising regulation, effective October 2025. Google will stop serving political ads in the EU ahead of that date. Microsoft Advertising is taking similar steps, requiring all advertisers to configure this setting by October 10.
