Google has rolled out a Merchant Center pricing policy update to improve transparency and regional consistency.

Key changes:

  • Merchant fees (service, handling, activation, etc.): must be added to shipping settings.
  • Government fees (duties, taxes): must not be included in price or shipping attributes.
  • Import/export costs: either include in product price or clearly disclose on-site.
  • Regional Availability & Pricing (RAAP): now globally available, letting merchants set location-specific pricing.
  • Installments: use the dedicated [downpayment] field within [installment], with [price] reflecting the full upfront cost.

Merchants are urged to check feeds, landing pages, and structured data for exact price alignment to avoid disapprovals or suspensions.
