Daniel Fägersten shared that he received a fraudulent recruitment email claiming to offer him a position as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Google.
The message used the official Google logo and overly flattering language but displayed several signs of a phishing attempt:
- The sender’s address was not from the @google.com domain
- The content was generic and could apply to anyone
- It included urgent call-to-action links like “Click here to book an appointment”
- The branding was overly polished to create false credibility

Remember: If an opportunity sounds too good to be true and pushes for a quick click, it probably isn’t safe.
