Google Ads has officially announced the sunset of API v17 on June 4, 2025. After this date, all v17 API requests will fail, which could disrupt campaign management tools or automations still using the older version.

What You Need to Do:

✔ Migrate to a newer API version before the cutoff
✔ Audit your API usage in the Google Cloud Console
✔ Review updated release notes for version changes

To check which version your system is running:

  1. Go to Google Cloud Console → APIs & Services
  2. Select Google Ads API
  3. Open the Metrics tab to view methods and version usage
  4. Look for patterns like google.ads.googleads.v17.services.*

Don’t delay. Switch now to avoid disruptions in your ad operations.
