Google Tests Pill-Shaped Sitelinks on Desktop

A screenshot of a Google search results page on a desktop shows two sponsored links. The first link is for "takealot.com | Shop Cellphones Online," highlighting various deals. The second link, featuring pill-shaped sitelinks, is for "Makro | Apple 128GB iPhone 15 Blue Mood," also advertising deals and special offers.

Google is testing a pill format for sitelinks in desktop search results. It shows for non-branded desktop searches and features bubbles with a blue background on hover.

Google’s ongoing efforts indicate that it will refine its search interface by improving user experience by making sitelinks more prominent and visually appealing,

This format was previously seen in organic results but has now made its way to ads.
