Google appears to be preparing to increase the character limit for video ad headlines. The current 15-character limit is set to be expanded to:

  • 30 characters for non-skippable in-stream ads

  • 100 characters for in-feed video ads

The ad editing/creation interface shows the new character limits, but the system still enforces the original 15-character limit; entering more than this results in an error.
