Microsoft has revised its advertising rules for the Xbox Dash placement within the Microsoft Audience Network. The update significantly expands the list of prohibited categories and introduces new requirements for non-endemic campaigns.

The new guidelines prohibit ads in categories like credit cards in the US, crypto, NFTs, real estate, legal services, and weight loss, among others. Additionally, there is a new rule that non-endemic campaigns must include a prominent gaming tie-in and a Landing Experience. Xbox Store placements are now exclusively for games, gaming accessories, and eligible apps.
Advertisers using Xbox Dash placements should review their campaigns to ensure compliance with the updated restrictions.
