Google Introducing Unique Search Categories Columns

Three new Google Ads columns have been introduced to improve search campaign reporting. Advertisers can now track unique search categories to understand coverage and engagement levels more precisely.

The new metrics include:

  • Unique Search Categories with Clicks: Count of distinct query groups that generated clicks.
  • Unique Search Categories with Conversions: Count of categories that led to conversions.
  • Unique Search Categories with Impressions: Count of categories in which ads were displayed.
