Google Ads has launched AI Brief, leveraging Gemini to enable advertisers to guide AI Max campaigns using their own messaging. This feature allows users to set specific messaging, matching, and audience guidelines to tailor ads effectively.

Advertisers can outline clear directions on what their ads should promote, such as avoiding specific terms or prioritizing certain audience segments. AI Brief will systematically transition existing text guidelines into this framework, ensuring a smoother integration.
The rollout will begin in English for AI Max for Search campaigns, followed by expansions to Performance Max and AI Max for Shopping campaigns in the coming months.
